I am running for the Office of Mayor first and foremost because I believe elections are about the People and not the Candidates. I feel I am the right person for the job to represent the City of Leander. I do not believe that people move to Leander to pay higher taxes.

We need to keep Leander competitive for Home Builders, competitive on our tax rate so we can continue to spur economic development.

I believe:

• In the Support of our Military and Veterans. When you hear the words “Land of the free and home of the brave” we need to thank our Military
• In Transparency in Government, the Citizens need to know how your money is being spent.
• Preservation of our Water and Wastewater, I am the VP of the Brushy Creek Regional Utility Authority and will look out for Leander’s interest.
• Protecting our Children, I sit on the Board of the Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center
• Economic Development , finding ways to attract more businesses to Leander
• Allowing the Citizens of Leander to interact with their Mayor and Elected Officials though my idea of a Mayor’s Citizens Advisory Committee.
• Supporting our School System through LISD to find ways to work more closely together
• Leander does not need three more years of the same thing

I want to continue to focus my efforts on showing the Citizens of Leander that I am the best person for the job of Mayor!
